How this blog is made

The blog has two kinds of posts, and each one tells you which it is.

Guides

Long-form walkthroughs carry Mikhail Kuzmitskii's byline and no source line. They are written for this site, not adapted from anyone's announcement.

News posts, written by AI

A post that opens with "Based on the original announcement" was written by a script. Once a day it looks at the newest posts on the Claude, OpenAI and Google Developers blogs, and at the Claude Code changelog. An announcement is only used when it is about building software with AI coding tools, agents or MCP; the rest is skipped. A language model then writes the post from the announcement's text, and an image model draws the cover.

  • The scheduled run publishes on its own: no one reads the post before it goes live.
  • The byline is the site, not a person, and the original announcement is linked at the top.
  • Figures and screenshots inside a post come from that announcement. The cover image is AI-generated.
  • When a news post and the announcement disagree, the announcement is right.

Older posts that drifted off-topic

Before the relevance check existed, the script also wrote about customer stories, policy and research. Those posts stay at their addresses, because other pages link to them, but they are not listed on the blog, in the feed or in the sitemap, and search engines are asked not to index them.
